Having been turned down for a job at Berry Bros & Rudd, Rupert started out at Fortnum & Mason before going on to establish the Henriot champagne brand in the UK. This was followed by a role as UK Brand Manager for the South African wines of the Simonsig Estate and three years at Charles Taylor Wines.
He can hit a ball around a golf course without too much embarrassment, which is more than can be said for his ability to dance in time to music.
Mark spent three years in the London office of John Harvey and Sons, after which he joined Laytons Wine Merchants, followed by a three year stint at Charles Taylor wines.
He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of not only fine wine, but is also curiously passionate about prog-rock bands, all matters sporting and London restaurant openings. A creature of habit, when not in the office you'll likely find Mark at London's newest go-to restaurant or even at a rock concert, ideally at Glastonbury.
SALES, MARKETING AND FINE WINE TRADE
Nina joined the team in April 2018. She has five years of Bordeaux University behind her where she studied viticulture and winemaking.
She loves to learn new crazy things about wine, taste from all around the world, visit vineyards and all kind of stuff related to this fabulous product. Despite her very strong French accent, she is fascinated by Piedmont wines. Other hobbies? Pastry, bread making (very relaxing) and pretty much everything related to food.
The latest Decorum recruit who tries, (with much difficulty though), to convert the Decvin team to marketing, web and social media “technologies”, waving her magic wand to make Mark and Rupert understand that Instagram is not a mysterious world for IT geeks…
During the weekend you will probably find Floriane in a craft, wool or fabrics shop as she loves everything related to handicrafts.
